Vision Mission Values

Our Vision

Shining the Light of Jesus to the World

Our Motivation

The Great Commandment:

“Jesus said to him, 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:37-40

The Great Commission:

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.  Matthew 28:18-20

The Great Confession

He (Jesus) said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said

“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:15-16

Our Mission

As Believers in Jesus Christ, we will experience the Light of Jesus as we Focus on Him in worship and shine His Light to the world in our acts of Favor to others, in Faith that we live and share, in Following Jesus daily, and in the Family of Believers called His Church.

Our Mission

Focus (Worship)

Favor to others (Ministry)

Faith lived and shared (Evangelism)

Following (Baptism and Discipleship)

Family (Fellowship)

Our Strategies

We Will Accomplish Our Mission Through:

·         A worship experience that is Spirit-led, Biblical and God focused, which causes worshippers to be drawn into God’s presence and respond to the Spirit’s prompting.

·         Preaching that is true to the Word, relevant, Spirit-filled, and that leads the hearer to open their hearts and minds and respond to the truth of God’s inerrant word.

·         Acts of service to those in the family of Believers and in the community at large which show the love and light of Jesus to those hurting and in need, both physical and spiritual.

·         A life that is radically devoted to Jesus and is actively pursuing opportunities to share the Gospel with those who do not have a personal relationship with Christ. Our sharing of Faith may be planned through evangelistic events, mission trips, or simply through personal day to day activities as the Spirit leads.

·         Purposefully following after Jesus in public baptism and a life of learning how to be a disciple of Jesus through daily Bible study, prayer, discipleship classes, and opportunities to be mentored by others who can help deepen our faith.

·         Committing our lives not only to Jesus Christ but also to His body as seen in the local church and being active in weekly worship, Bible study, and other church activities that will shine the Light of Jesus to the world.
